The system consists of a controller unit that mounts on the inside of your garage door and a sensor that attaches to the door itself. The sensor wirelessly transmits data to the controller, which then uses an algorithm to determine whether or not the door is properly closed. If the door is open, the controller will send an alert to your smartphone, allowing you to take action immediately. In addition, the YoLink app also allows you to remotely open and close your garage door, as well as set up custom alerts for things like unusual activity or unexpected openings.
