Setup and Installation

To setup the Ovilee S17 Mini Drone, begin by removing it from its packaging. The main components include the drone itself, the remote control unit, a charging cable and four additional spare propellers. Once these have been removed and checked for any damage, inspect the drone to ensure all of its components are present and in working order. Place 4 AA batteries into the rear compartment of the remote before turning it on. Next, plug in the supplied charger cable into a power source such as a laptop or wall outlet, then connect it to the drone’s charging port. After 20 minutes or so of charging, pick up the drone and press both power buttons located on either side of its body for two seconds – this will activate both devices simultaneously. If everything is functioning correctly, place your fingers onto both joysticks on the remote controller and move them in a circular motion – this should cause your Ovilee S17 Mini Drone to begin flying.
