Setup and Installation

Setting up the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 is an easy and straightforward process. The first step is to unpack the device from its box and locate all included components. The router comes with a power supply, Ethernet cables, user manual and setup guide. Next, plug the power adapter into an outlet and connect the router to your modem using an Ethernet cable. After that, use another Ethernet cable to connect your computer to one of the LAN ports on the router. Then launch a web browser on your computer and enter “192.168.1.1” in the address bar to access the WebGUI (Graphic User Interface). Once you have logged in, you will be able to configure various settings of your network including network name and password, DHCP settings, port forwarding etc., depending on your needs and preferences. Afterwards, all you need to do is connect other devices such as computers or game consoles using additional Ethernet cables or Wi-Fi connection if they support it. To ensure maximum performance, switch off any unused features such as guest networks or parental control settings.
